The Alconbury Molesworth Spouse Club (AMSC) is a private organization on RAF Alconbury, England. The AMSC seeks to contribute funds to local organizations who support the military, their families and our local community.
All requests will be discussed and voted on at ourmonthly board meeting, except for our summer break in June and July. Your organization will be notified when a final decision has been reached and if a check is available to mail or pick up. This process can take up to 30 days to complete.
We hope the funds raised at our on base AMSC Thrift Shop and through fundraising are able to support your activity or program.
Guidelines:
- Form must be completed with as much detail as possible.
- Requests must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the event.
- Funds must benefit/support RAF Alconbury, RAF Molesworth personnel and their families.
Constraints:
- Financial or in-kind donations. Checks will not be made payable to individuals, they must be written to a private organization (verify your organization can accept this payment method before applying). In the event your organization does not have a bank, funds can be reimbursed upon proof of receipt.
- All funds are distributed in US Dollars and not Pounds.
- All requests from DODEA sports teams/clubs/programs will be limited to $25.00 per child with a max of $500.
- Requests for Holiday Party Funds must be received no later than the second Friday of November each year in order for your request to be considered. Requests can not exceed $500 and must be used for food, drinks, and reducing guest ticket prizes. Holiday Party Funds can not be used for alcoholic beverages, raffle prizes or gifts
- If you are requesting funds for an event or speaker, please ensure that your advertisements clearly indicate that the event is “co-sponsored” or “sponsored in part” by the Alconbury Molesworth Spouse Club (AMSC). Our logo is required to be included on any promotional materials and should be no smaller than 3 inches. Failure to complete this report may negatively impact future funding applications.
- If you are awarded any funds you will be required to complete and After Action Report (that will be provided to you) 10 days after event.
The AMSC raises money for the community primarily through AMSC Thrift Shop sales. This is dependent upon volunteers to be successful. There is no requirement for volunteer hours at the Thrift Shop for funds request, but priority may be given to organizations that show community involvement and/or provide support to AMSC and our Thrift Shop.
Misappropriation of the funds will be taken to the legal office. If you are requesting funds for an event or speaker, include on your advertisement that the event is "co-sponsored" or "sponsored-in-part" by the Alconbury Molesworth Spouse Club (AMSC). AMSC monies are to be used last. Monies must only be used for the event on the funding application. In case of excess event funds, THE REMAINDER OF THE FUNDS ARE TO BE RETURNED TO THE AMSC. Furthermore, AMSC reserves the right to ask that monies be returned if the event does not take place or the AMSC feels the funds were not used in accordance with the approved funding request. You must provide AMSC with an after action report no later than 10 calendar days after the event.
You can email us at AMSpouseClub@gmail.com with any questions concerning the AMSC Funds Request program.
